Many years of experience as a talented producer and DJ have allowed Avidel to place Panama —although being a small Central American country there is a deep percussive and musical tradition— in the minimal scene’s line of fire. His roots indeed come from his early childhood when he got inspired by his hometown’s traditional music instruments. That’s how he learned how to transform his emotions into harmony & ambient sounds. All these experiences were turned over the years into the dazzling music he’s produced for labels such as RE.FACE Italy, Tzinah Records, Bohrium, Default Records & his label, Homies Music.
His music has been supported and played by great artists such as Barac, Herodot, Sepp, Costin Rp and Cosmjn.
After a journey across Europe, he combined two different rhythms and two distinct ways of understanding music that are actually complementary. That’s the spirit of his musical identity whereby he expresses his soul with every track he creates for the crowd.
As a renowned artist in Panama, he is also dedicated to helping their country’s music scene to grow. That’s why he founded Homies parties, a musical initiative that has been considered as a genuine movement by Panamanian clubbers. You’ll be able to find Homies soon also as a vinyl & digital label.
